Have you heard that by 2050 the environment for coffee production will have changed radically, and in the worst case scenario will have disappeared? But will such a future really be here? We will examine the various issues behind the future of coffee and try to do what we can do about it at the Kamakura Ethical Lab.

Kamakura Roasted Coffee ‘Fair Trade Kamakura Blend’.
In order to raise awareness of the importance of fair trade, including the 2050 coffee issue, Kokubu Metropolitan Corporation, Sanbon Coffee Company, Kamakura Ethical Lab and the citizens of Kamakura have collaborated to develop a Kamakura-branded fair trade coffee.
This special coffee is focused on the following three points
Support for sustainable agriculture
Improving the livelihoods of coffee growers and protecting the environment through the Fairtrade Premium.
Contribution to the local community
We contribute to the preservation of beautiful nature by donating a portion of the proceeds to the Green Space Conservation Fund of Kamakura City.
Kamakura's commitment
The taste and packaging design reflect the opinions of the citizens of Kamakura gathered through a questionnaire survey. It is truly a coffee born in Kamakura, for Kamakura.
