In order to realize a sustainable city of Kamakura, an SDG Future City, we aim to create a society where each citizen respects and supports each other, recognizes diversity, engages with society in the way they wish, and can live their own lives with peace of mind throughout their lives. To this end, we aim to become and remain a certified Fair Trade Town.

The Kamakura Ethical Lab will examine the various issues behind the future of coffee and what we can do to help. As a first step, we would like to introduce “Fair Trade Kamakura Blend,” a coffee roasted in Kamakura that was made possible through collaboration between industry and regional development.
